Friday Folders!---HELP NEEDED!
We are looking for parents to help stuff Friday Folders. Friday folder helpers report to the school on Fridays after drop off. All volunteers need to present a photo id in the office before entering.
Battle Of the Books!
Battle of the Books is run by Eisenhower Library. It is 5 weeks long,
beginning in February and ending in March. Meetings take place every
Wednesday from 4-5/5:30 PM. Leigh will develop a team of 4th graders to
compete. They are in need of a parent or group of parents to coach
the Leigh Team. This would require working with Mrs. Guzik to find a time
to work with the kids, read the books, think of questions, make sure kids
have read the books, etc. Please let Mrs. Guzik know if you are interested
in being a coach.

We will be holding elections in May for a Secretary Vacancy for the remainder of a term of the 2018-2019 school year. To be eligible for nomination and/or to vote, one must be a PTA member for at least 30 days. We will be accepting nominations at the April 3rd meeting and elections will be held on May 1st. We ask that anyone interested in the position please attend both meetings. The position duties are listed below. You may also use the link attached to the Illinois PTA for further information.
Duties of Secretary:
